Here are the highlights for this week:
It was a good first week back. The students are still adjusting to having me as a teacher again and getting back to how I manage the classroom. We have had a lot of talks about listening to the teacher and what it looks like to be respectful. Transitions are never easy, so I'm looking forward to being back to our routines very soon!
On Monday afternoon I am drawing the name for our field trip chaperone.
This is the last week for Pennies for Patients. To wrap up this event, Mr. Neese has challenged the kids to bring in money to toss water balloons at him. $5 for 2 water balloons, and $10 for 5 water balloons. This will take place on Thursday, March 12.
Elementary Library Book Fair: Follett Book Fair will be here from Monday, March 23rd-Friday, March 27th! Please come support our CVC Elementary Library by purchasing a book! The book fair will be open after school from 3:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. The book fair will also be open from 7:30-8:10 a.m. on Friday, March 27th to coordinate with the Pastries with Parents event. Cash, credit card, gift cards, and checks (made out to CVC) will be accepted. There will also be an opportunity to bless teachers with a book from their wish list bin. Hope to see you there!
The students & Mrs. Kuns are working hard on the Spring Musical. More details will come soon. For now, she did let us know that the kids need to wear "Spring Clothes".
