Here are the highlights for this week:
Welcome back to school! I hope your family had a great long weekend. The students shared that many of you had plans to go out of town, or enjoy some quiet time at home. I hope it was relaxing and you are ready for the week ahead.
Over the next few weeks, there are a lot of things going on.
Keep referring back to this site to stay up to date.
This is the last week for Pennies for Patients. To wrap up this event, Mr. Neese has challenged the kids to bring in money to toss water balloons at him. $5 for 2 water balloons, and $10 for 5 water balloons. This will take place on Thursday, March 12. Let's get Mr. Neese SOAKED...for a good cause of course.
Elementary Library Book Fair: Follett Book Fair will be here from Monday, March 23rd-Friday, March 27th! Please come support our CVC Elementary Library by purchasing a book! The book fair will be open after school from 3:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. The book fair will also be open from 7:30-8:10 a.m. on Friday, March 27th to coordinate with the Pastries with Parents event. Cash, credit card, gift cards, and checks (made out to CVC) will be accepted. There will also be an opportunity to bless teachers with a book from their wish list bin. Hope to see you there!
Our class will be preview the Book Fair on Friday, March 20. Our day to purchase is Thursday, March 26th at 2pm. You can of course come with your child at any of the times listed above to shop together. If your child does have an eye on a book, please send enough money to school to cover the cost of the book, plus tax. Money in marked envelopes would be appreciated.
If you would like to have your name in the drawing to join the 1st grade classes to Underground Gardens on Friday, March 27, please let me know by Monday, March 9. The drawing will take place at 3pm, I will notify you if you have been selected.
The students & Mrs. Kuns are working hard on the Spring Musical. More details will come soon. For now, she did let us know that the kids need to wear "Spring Clothes".
